| Woodhaven Manor is a federal and state-licensed 75-bed facility, providing skilled and intermediate nursing services. It is our mission to provide the resident with the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment and plan of care.
Woodhaven Manor is Medicare and Medicaid certified. We also accept private or self-pay residents and most private insurance policies.

Rehabilitative Services
There was a time when a serious injury or illness, especially late in life, could take you or your loved one away from home forever. Now with aggressive rehabilitative therapy, you can go home again and participate in those activities you or your loved one enjoy.
We take great pride in our rehabilitative services. While we serve residents during long-term illness or terminal conditions, many residents stay with us during short-term incapacities and return to improved or independent living through our professional rehabilitative services. Our goal is to assist each resident to obtain the highest level of function and capacity for life.
Physical therapy focuses on problems with loss of movement, strength motion, balance and skin breakdown to accelerate recovery, prevent impairments and minimize wounds and contractures.
Occupational therapy assist residents to relearn activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing and feeding to restore their highest level of independence.
Speech therapy helps to increase the resident’s ability to express their desires as well as the restoration of swallowing skills following a stroke or due to neurological or muscular diseases.
Since our therapy places an emphasis on educating both the patient and family regarding proper exercise, diet and positioning techniques, progress should continue at home following the short-term stay in the facility.
Our Staff
Our employees are committed to excellence because we know how much you care. Our entire staff routinely receives in-service educational training to better meet the needs of our residents. Our skilled nursing staff receives continuing educational training beyond what is required by law so we may keep abreast of ever-changing health care delivery.

Woodhaven Manor is an active member of the American Health Care Association and the Alabama Nursing Home Association. These associations were established to regulate the standards, principles and practices of health care, and in particular, nursing home administration.
