Health Care Services

Choosing the right care and setting for your loved one can be challenging. You want qualified professionals, friendly surroundings, a clean and appealing atmosphere and personalized services. Not everyone can deliver the quality care, support and homelike comfort you have in mind.

Our staff members are available 24 hours, seven days a week to provide skilled nursing care and assist with the activities of daily living. Our team consists of caring professionals in nursing, social services, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance and administration all working together to provide comprehensive quality care to your loved one.

We work closely with our medical director, the resident’s physician and family to ensure a plan of care that meets individual needs and abilities.

Quality improvement systems are used and reviewed to continually evaluate and improve upon our services. We measure response to treatment, personal satisfaction and input to enhance current programs and develop new aggressive plans to care.

Therapy/Rehabilitation Services

Our team of Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists address diverse conditions that include:

• Neurological conditions such as strokes, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s disease
• Orthopedic injuries and joint replacements
• Cancer-related conditions
• Amputations
• Trauma resulting from accident or illness
• Functional declines secondary to other illnesses
• Musculoskeletal problems

In addition to the above, our therapists work aggressively on healing advanced state decubitus ulcers (bed sores) utilizing state-of-the-art wound care protocols and pressure relief techniques to restore skin integrity.

Because personal support is an important component of recovery, the involvement of family and friends is encouraged in the rehabilitation process.

Social Services

Our Licensed Social Worker works closely with the family to ensure that we are meeting the medical, social and emotional needs of each resident. They will also assist in a transition to home care by contacting community agencies that provide continued health care at home.

Activities

Each month, we plan a calendar full of events to stimulate involvement. Social gatherings, movies, arts and crafts, music and exercise programs are just a few of the activities offered.

Residents are encouraged to maintain past interests and pursue new ones. Families, friends and members of the community are always welcome to share in the fun.

Comfort, Safety and Security

Resident rooms are designed with a comfortable, safe and secure environment in mind. One such feature is the Nurse Call System in each room to provide immediate assistance when needed. Additionally, we highly encourage residents to make their room homelike with decorations, personal pictures and furnishings from home. Our maintenance department is available to help you with any assistance you may need.

Staff

Our employees are committed to excellence because we know how much you care. Our entire staff routinely receives in-service educational training to better meet the needs of our residents. Our skilled nursing staff receives continuing educational training beyond what is required by law so we may keep abreast of ever-changing health care delivery.
