| Crowne Health Care of Montgomery is a federal and state-licensed 185-bed facility, providing skilled and intermediate nursing services on a 24-hour basis. It is our purpose to offer these services to persons who fall within the prescribed limitations of government regulations, and for whom we are able to provide the necessary level of care required by each person's medical needs. With no warning, a slip and then a fall, a serious illness or a stroke: it can happen to anyone, and in an instant your life and the way you go about living has changed.
Due to so many advances in our lifetime, the National Center for Health Statistics reports that two million people survive some form of trauma every year. And often with survival comes some level of disability. This is why rehabilitation has become so important in healthcare. It often helps define the quality of life after trauma.
Learning to once again walk, talk, work and participate in life are the goals of successful rehab, and they are our goals for you as we work together.

Rehabilitative Services
We take great pride in our rehabilitative services. While we serve residents during long-term illness or terminal conditions, many residents stay with us during short-term incapacities and quite often return to improved or independent living through our professional rehabilitative services. Our goal is to assist each resident in obtaining their highest level of function and capacity for life.
Therapy/Rehabilitation Services
- Physical Therapy
- Physical therapy focuses on problems with strength, motion, balance, and skin breakdown to accelerate recovery, prevent impairments, and minimize wounds and contractures.
- Occupational Therapy
- Patients relearn activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and feeding to restore their highest level of independence.
- Speech Therapy
- Speech therapy helps to increase our residents' ability to express their desires, and when needed, these services assist in the restoration and enhancement of communication and swallowing skills.
Staff
Our employees are committed to excellence because we know how much you care. Our entire staff routinely receives in-service educational training to better meet the needs of our residents. Our skilled nursing staff receives continuing educational training beyond what is required by law so we may keep abreast of ever-changing health care delivery.
